Recently I was surfing the internet. In my opinion, it is a war zone of traffic. I had mapped out my destination before logging in. Liken to getting into a car and starting the engine. I logged in to begin my journey. Before long, my curiosity lured me off track. I was drawn in by sites with provocative and not so lewd advertisements. I went from one site to the next. Some had positive messages that enhanced my intellect. Others put a smile on my face or made me laugh out loud with their comical content.
The anger seen is out of control. It took me back to the Bible’s account in Genesis 11:7-9. That was when Jehovah materialized Himself and visited our world that had gone out of control. I was reminded of that account. I was also brought back to the reality of our mental state as a nation globally. People on a global scale whose behavior is brutally competitive and selfishly aggressive actions and comments towards others are enough to cause some to end their lives.
There’s a saying that when a finger is pointed at someone, nine are pointed back at you. That statement is long forgotten, as the war on the internet is coming from a place of hurt, that states: I don’t care. Do you?
Well, it seems that many do care. However, they are confused. Their actions come from a place of hurt in innocence, and they speak unaware of a mind psychologically troubled. People are confused to the point that respect is lost. This respect is lost from actions seen by those who dispense law and order. It extends to those who are the leaders of a country and to the churches that most look to for their spiritual upbuilding.

This brings me to mention our youths. What is the image, the vision of the world we are building for our young ones when they hear vulgarity and see the disrespect given to others? I beg to ask the question: Is it love or hate? A show of wit and courage? Or am I living for today, for who knows if I’ll see tomorrow?
The world needs a transformation of minds. It starts with (each one) you and me, committing ourselves.
It will call for strength, as it will be a long journey. A journey that will call for self-control as each navigates the road of circumstances that you will be led to. Situations that will be manipulated will call for patience. And eyes that are not deceived by appearances. For the one wise, he is the one who will look past appearances to the expression of words.
Words move our emotions, for better or worse. Appreciating the revelation of what was spoken requires meditation.
When Jesus had it recorded in Colossians 3:5, telling us to deaden our body members that are upon the earth as respect fornication, uncleanness, sexual appetite, hurtful desires, and covetousness, which is idolatry. In verse seven the apostle Paul wrote: You once walked in those very things. You used to live in them.
None of us are without sinful desires of words or deeds.
We need to meditate on the Bible’s counsel of morals to transform our minds. This transformation will, in turn, transform our bodies. The stories of our ancestors that shed light on our actions.
There is no doubt that changes need to be implemented. Doing so will eliminate the stress that most people feel or are under regardless of power or position.
It is time that those consumed by anger take a step back and rethink their action/s. For actions taken in anger rarely benefit the doer.

As an example of a trouble mind. Take the recent news of Elon Musk’s Tesla cars being set a fire. One man’s anger is not logical, that by causing another’s financial hardship, his own worsens. Musk’s presence in the White House whose actions are out of love for country. I can hear the sighs from some of you who just read that sentence. Seriously, logic should tell you, it is not about filling his pocket with (the thinking of a majority), with the monies saved. It is about a country avoiding a deficit. The deficit could become so large it outnumbers the entire United States of America. Only those with money will not care about the compensation due to each citizen when retired or about to retire in a few years, or those crippled in one capacity or the other.
We need a transformation of minds; only then the stress we inflict on others will stop. Be kind to self. Do unto others as you would like done to you, were the tables turn.
None of us can avoid God’s wrath. He allows all things under the sun to take place for a time. This time allows each to transform their personality into a better person.
Now’s the time!
