When we see or hear the word ‘Breaking News,’ our ears become attentive to hear what it is. Our eyes also open a bit wider and focus on seeing what it is or who is being spoken of. As of lately there have been much breaking news that calls for attention.
For a beginner, Trump’s imposed tariffs has seen the stock market plummet.
The Wall Street Journal has called for Donald Trump to be sued to prevent tariffs being imposed on Canada and Mexico. The newspaper’s editorial board wrote in very blunt terms that Trump did not have the power to order the tariffs without Congressional approval. Yet he did.
Well, Canada will not sit down like Ukraine and accept such disrespect. It takes one to listen before responding, even if the other has the upper hand. Hooray to Mr. Ford for working alongside Trudeau’s encouragement for Canadians to stand and fight for the economy’s sovereignty. The way Democracy should work. “Until the threat of tariffs is gone for good, Ontario won’t back down. We’ll stand strong, use every tool in our toolkit, and do whatever it takes to protect Ontarians,” insisted Mr. Dogg Ford, whose 25% export on electricity tariffs went full speed ahead today, March 11, 2025.

The person needs to see a medical professional.
CHOICES
To each one his choice. Choose wisely. Remember, in all our ways, we should consider others. This world is meant for you and me. A thought comes to mind from my deceased sister’s note. She left it after working in her garden. She wrote, “Happiness of the heart depends on the quality of one’s thoughts.” I added to that. And the quality of what’s taught.
CONCLUSION
Mr. Trump’s stop-and-go attitude is likened to saying, “One moment you love me, then the next you hate me.” My thoughts are the same as Mr. Trudeau’s: Freedom is not a given. We must be courageous, make sacrifices, and work hard. This is the time when standing our ground calls for endurance, which will, in turn, have to see approved conditions of fairness across the borders. Whether, Mr. Ford will dance or stand firm is yet to see.
