• “Some people should not write.”
• “Not everyone needs to be in the public’s view.”
• “A waste of time and money.”

Pretend you did not read or hear such comments. Most of us have obvious limitations. “Determination isn’t without disabilities; it’s refusing to let the disabilities write the whole story.” 

Keep in mind that those who post or say such things do so out of envy and their own fear of starting. Perhaps because they don’t know how to begin, don’t have a goal, or lack the financial means to pursue it—if they even have one—they’re negative energy you need to avoid. Those are the ones whose attitude lacks self-appreciation feel that you should be like them. Don’t allow their words to distract you from or destroy your ideas.

A garden of flowers is what we are. Here to beautify this earth with our creative artistry, and to mentally upbuild and encourage one and the other. Yet I look around to see those who attempt to do as previously mentioned; their work is destroyed, and service to others is eventually criticized by the very ones who once received a service.

I got it. Flowers are beautiful to look at, but not all are preferred by one. Each of us has a favourite. It could be the height to which it grows, its longevity, the colour or colour combination of its petals, or its scent. Because each of us has a choice, that should be appreciated instead of criticized.

To look around is to observe the differences. To read a person’s work is to recognize the difference. Every writer writes from a place of personal growth. A writer’s first book is likened to a baby’s first step. Like a baby’s first step to finally finding balance, so is anyone’s attempt to author a bestselling book, whether a professional dancer, a singer, or a business owner.

Not everyone can become a leader within a certain group. A follower with thinking ability makes choices that are logical, balanced, and that politically benefit all within society, which, with such actions, puts the right leader at the top.
