September 11, 2001, do you remember where or what you were doing?
An unforgettable day stored in memory I recall it being hot and unusually calm when I got out of the train station.
I crossed over the Danforth to the Scotia Bank. As I got to the counter, a teller made eye contact without a word; she disappeared into a room with a few others. Minutes past before she came out apologize and give me the withdrawal requested for my intuition. Our interaction left me with an odd feeling.
I crossed the street back into the train station. As I waited on the train, I looked up at the monitors and that’s when I saw the tower with fire blazing from the top. Then as the camera moved to the ground ashes and people running in all direction. I still was not aware what was happing as the train arrived. I got to the University of Toronto, paid my tuition and head back home.
As I said, the day was hot, and most people know that the heat tends to get you tired if you have been in it most of the day. So when I got home, after washing myself, I went to bed. It was after I woke up later in the afternoon and saw the planes flying into the twin towers and listened to the T.V station commentary, I knew what was happening.
It is not a situation our Heavenly Father God initiated, but when a people are oppressed, reactions can never be determined or expected. Some learn from past mistakes and make changes, others continue to escalate within their ideology and twisted teachings.
We continue to forgive, read, listen, and learn from each other to choose what is right in our Heavenly Father’s eyes. For He will judge each one.
