Exploring Sugar Beach: Views and Reflections on Toronto’s Growth

Toronto C.N. Tower. The white pointed standing structure in between the buildings is no longer the tallest in the world, as builders seem to compete with each other.

At one time, I was able to stand on my balcony and look over at Central Island (photo taken from Sugar Beach); no longer am I able to, as buildings have been built higher and higher.

SUGAR BEACH

A day that was not going so well, I decided to visit Sugar Beach to clear my head. As I sat pondering the obstacles that come in the way of every effort, a group rode up and positioned themselves in front of me to take a photo. A coincidence or the silent movement of the gods, I smiled at the view before me.
